Snapshots!

            Included in this volume are articles written over a period of years. They are the result of thoughts and reflections over the years on a variety of topics.

            They have been collected and complied into this single volume. At first it was thought simply to entitle it ‘The Collection’. And that pretty much will describe what’s here. A collection of a wide variety of short articles or essays on a number of different topics.

            Then I thought I would entitle it ‘The Potpourri’. That would identify what was to follow. But I decided against that word. It was just too much of an uncommon and unknown word. That would not clarify or quickly reveal the contents.

            In the end, ‘Snapshots’ was chosen as a summary word and title. Snapshots are pictures. They tell the story. The reveal. Thus, a way to show and share some personal thoughts.

            Many of these ideas I had planned to share with others when an occasion arose where they would be appropriate.

            Often that occasion did not present itself, so I decided to write them down and then perhaps , just perhaps, the chance that one day, someday, someone, somewhere, might read some of these thoughts and they just might make a difference in their life and in their approach to GOD.
